From Wrongful Incarceration to Influential Speaker: Leadership Lessons on Resilience & Influence

My Story: Overcoming Life’s Greatest Challenges

My journey began in Nigeria, shaped by hard-working parents who taught me the values of persistence, sacrifice, and integrity. My mother, though uneducated, was the most influential figure in my life.

She believed deeply in the power of education and instilled in me a relentless drive to rise above limitations.

After moving to the United States, I pursued a career in healthcare. However, my life took an unexpected turn when I faced wrongful incarceration—an experience that tested my resilience and faith in ways I never imagined. For nearly two years, I battled through the emotional and psychological strain of injustice, racial profiling, and systemic failure. Yet, through that pain, I discovered my true strength.

Emerging from that dark chapter, I returned to complete my nursing education and eventually became a Licensed Practical Nurse. I also started a home health care business and built a career as a Life Transformation Coach and Motivational Speaker. My mission now is clear: to inspire others to overcome adversity, unlock their potential, and lead with purpose.

    Resilient Leadership Storytelling

Resilience & Leadership: Turning Adversity into Strength

True leadership isn’t forged in comfort—it’s shaped in adversity. My journey taught me that challenges reveal who you are and shape how you lead. The leaders I respect most are those who understand that setbacks are not signs of failure but opportunities for growth.

In business, resilience means making tough decisions during uncertainty, staying calm under pressure, and remaining committed to your vision even when the odds are against you. The hardship I faced taught me three vital leadership lessons:

Embrace the struggle as part of the journey. Every obstacle holds a lesson that prepares you for the next level of leadership.Lead with empathy. Understanding pain and hardship makes you more compassionate, which builds stronger, more loyal teamsStay anchored to your purpose. When everything feels uncertain, your mission should guide your decisions.

I often remind leaders that resilience is not just about surviving challenges—it’s about using them as stepping stones to grow, innovate, and lead with greater clarity and conviction.

The Power of Storytelling in Business

Influence in leadership is built on trust, and there’s no better way to build trust than through storytelling. Sharing your experiences humanizes you, making your leadership relatable and authentic.

When I share my journey, I’m not just recounting hardships—I’m offering a message of hope, resilience, and perseverance. In business, leaders who share their stories create stronger connections with their teams, clients, and stakeholders. Storytelling inspires action, fosters loyalty, and builds a culture rooted in authenticity.

For CEOs and entrepreneurs, storytelling isn’t just a tool for motivation—it’s a leadership strategy. When leaders share their struggles, lessons, and growth, they empower their teams to embrace vulnerability, take risks, and innovate.

Lessons for CEOs & Entrepreneurs: Practical Takeaways

Based on my journey, here are actionable lessons for leaders navigating the complexities of business:

Resilience is built through action, not avoidance. Face challenges head-on and view obstacles as opportunities to innovate and grow.Communicate with purpose. Your words carry power—whether you’re motivating your team or speaking to stakeholders, let your communication reflect your values and vision.Lead with empathy and vulnerability. When you show authenticity, you inspire trust and foster a stronger connection with those around you.Create a “why-driven” culture. Your mission should be the foundation of your business strategy. Leaders who prioritize purpose over profit inspire long-term loyalty and drive sustainable success.

Final Thoughts: Leading with Purpose Through Storytelling

For business leaders today, success isn’t just about profits—it’s about impact. The power of your leadership lies in your ability to inspire, connect, and lead with purpose.

Your story matters. Sharing your struggles, lessons, and triumphs isn’t a weakness—it’s a powerful leadership tool. It builds trust, creates connection, and empowers others to believe in your vision. In the end, the greatest leaders aren’t those who have avoided hardship but those who’ve faced adversity head-on and turned it into influence, innovation, and success.

What’s one challenge you’ve faced that shaped your leadership? Reflect on it, and share your story—it might just be the key to inspiring and influencing others.

  • Lighting My Leadership Flame: My Take on Dr. Yosi Amram’s Spiritually Intelligent Leadership

Lighting My Leadership Flame: My Take on Dr. Yosi Amram’s Spiritually Intelligent Leadership

I recently read a truly transformative book by Dr. Yosi Amram, a clinical psychologist, executive coach, and pioneering researcher in the field of spiritually intelligent leadership.

Titled “Spiritually Intelligent Leadership,” this book stands out from the usual leadership guides.

It offers deep insights into how embodying qualities like purpose, service, compassion, integrity, and humility can significantly enhance our functioning and well-being, particularly in leadership roles.

Here are my thoughts and reflections on this remarkable read:

Spiritually Intelligent Leadership by Dr. Yosi Amram

    A Raw and Honest Journey

The conventional notion of success and happiness that our beloved society has sold us is like a drug, and we all have become an addict.

In this whole race of chasing empty goals trying to prove our egoic worth to impress the world has perhaps helped us to achieve material prosperity, but as a clear side effect, we have learnt to live an artificial life which has snatched away our true happiness.

Beyond Religion: Spirituality in the Corporate Sphere

Dr. Amram makes a clear distinction between spirituality and religion, which was one of the most enlightening parts of the book. Spirituality, he explains, is about an individual’s quest for connection and the sacredness of life, whereas religion involves organized structures with specific creeds and beliefs.

In the corporate world, this means embodying values like compassion, connectedness, humility, and purpose, rather than promoting a specific dogma.

His insights offer a refreshing perspective on how spiritually intelligent leadership can transform workplace culture, enhancing well-being for both individuals and organizations.

    Inspiring Yourself Before Others

A standout idea from the book is that before we can inspire others, we must first inspire ourselves. It’s like trying to light someone else’s candle when yours is barely flickering—it just doesn’t work.

This concept resonated deeply with me because we’ve all experienced those moments of trying to lead while feeling completely uninspired ourselves.

Dr. Amram emphasizes that leadership starts from within, and his practical advice on cultivating spiritually intelligent leadership is invaluable.

    Leading from Behind

Dr. Amram challenges the conventional notion of leadership being about the big shot out in front.

He flips this idea on its head, showing that leading from behind can be just as impactful, if not more so. It’s all about empowering others to shine, and that’s where the magic happens.

This approach to leadership, rooted in humility and service, is both refreshing and deeply effective.

The Business Case for Spiritually Intelligent Leadership

Dr. Amram presents compelling evidence on how spiritually intelligent leadership impacts team morale, commitment, and turnover. Leaders who score high in spiritual intelligence tend to lead teams with greater morale, higher commitment, and lower turnover, ultimately resulting in better financial outcomes for their business units.

This book convincingly says that spiritually intelligent leadership is not just a nice-to-have but a crucial element of effective leadership.

Debunking Myths: Spirituality and Financial Outcomes

One of the myths Dr. Amram debunks is that spirituality means shunning money.

On the contrary, he cites research showing that leaders with higher spiritual intelligence often achieve better financial results.

He emphasizes the importance of holistic thinking in business, considering the well-being of all stakeholders—shareholders, employees, customers, and partners alike. This approach leads to sustainable success, benefiting everyone involved.

Practical Tips for Incorporating Spiritually Intelligent Leadership

What I appreciated most about Dr. Amram’s book is that it doesn’t just leave us with theory; it offers practical, actionable tips for integrating spiritual principles into our daily corporate lives.

He suggests simple yet powerful practices like expressing gratitude, sharing appreciation, and finding our center and life force energy. By cultivating qualities of spiritually intelligent leadership through these exercises and habit-building, we can make significant strides in both our personal and professional lives.

    Final Thoughts

Reading Dr. Amram’s “Spiritually Intelligent Leadership” has provided a wealth of insights into the practical application of spiritual intelligence in the corporate world. It’s clear that this dimension of intelligence is not just a nice-to-have but a must-have for anyone aspiring to lead with excellence and achieve both business success and personal fulfilment.

As we continue on this journey together, I invite you to reflect on how you can integrate spiritually intelligent leadership into your daily work life.

Stay tuned for more insights and tips that will help you transform your corporate experience into one that’s not only profitable but also deeply rewarding.

  • You are Responsible for Everything that happens in your Life

You are Responsible for Everything that happens in your Life

Whether you believe in God or not, you’d agree that this Universe is created with immense ultra intelligence. Scientists and Researchers certainly do a great job in understanding the hidden foundations and theories behind how things work, but no one can ever reach close.

Nature is much more disciplined than You and Me. So, everything is governed by astonishing and magical laws that work so seamlessly.

    These mystical laws work everywhere.

    Even in our Corporate World.

No matter how logical you try to make it look like, it’s all a spiritual game.

    Click to Tweet

Let’s accept it. Nature is much more powerful than our entire #human race. The #wisdom is to work with it, and NOT AGAINST IT.

Because we can’t defeat the infinite intelligence behind this creation.

To be able to work with it, we need to understand it to the extent we can.

Not with the mind, but with the being.

That was a little background. I know you want to know how you can use it for your ultimate corporate growth and prosperity .

Let me show you ONE POWERFUL Law of the Universe that you can instantly put into use. This has worked for me tremendously well.

By using this one, I could recreate my life which is too good to be true for a lot of you. My life is at its best, and whatever I want is always in my easy reach.

You are Responsible for your Corporate Life

You are Responsible for Everything that happens in your life.

If you are used to blaming people and situations for your problems, It might offend you!

But as as I always love to say that:

My Job as a Coach is not to please you but to challenge you.

    Now you may ask me.

If my boss treats me like a shit, how am I responsible for it?

    Yes. You are.

Your energy that’s made up of your 1) Thoughts, 2) Beliefs, 3) Emotions, and 4) Actions is causing that to happen to you.

    Let me explain.

Everything in this universe is made of energy. Physics has proved it already.

“Quantum physicists discovered that physical atoms are made up of vortices of energy that are constantly spinning and vibrating, each one radiating its own unique energy signature.”.

So, you are also a pile of energy vibrating at a certain frequency.

What will happen in your life (and corporate career :)), depends on what frequency you are vibrating on.

    People call it “vibe”.

You must have heard of this popular statement – Your VIBE attracts your TRIBE.

Your tribe does not only mean the #people, but also the material things, situations and circumstances and everything that you experience.

When you blame and complain, your vibe goes low.

In fact, whenever you’re emotionally low, your frequency goes down, and you start attracting “not pleasant to terrible” things and experiences in your life.

Try it today if you don’t believe that.

See how you feel every time you raise a complaint, put blame, and indulge in any other negative situations and actions.

On the contrary, when you appreciate, feel good and grateful, you start vibrating at a higher frequency, and that’s what brings amazing things to you.

Everything that comes into our experience is a result of the shared memory that we need to clean.

I am currently doing a Ho’oponopono Healing Certification program by Dr. Joe Vitale and Dr. Hew Len.

By the way, if you don’t know Ho’oponopono is a legendary Hawaiian healing and cleansing method, and focuses on healing through loving oneself.

Dr. Hew Len cured an entire ward of criminally mentally ill patients using the simple ancient Hawaiian healing method of Ho’oponopono.

He says that everything that comes into our experience is a result of the shared memory that we need to clean.

There’s nothing like Coincidence. This is a world of cause and effect.

Everything that is coming into your experience is your responsibility. No one ever gets what they don’t deserve and attract.

    So, if you think that:

You are unappreciated at your workplace because of someone else’s sick attitude, then think again.

Why is it happening to you? Why is that coming into your experience again and again?

There’s something that you need to clear and cleanse within yourself to stop that happening.

Blaming, complaining and attacking people on Social Media or in your personal discussions will only magnify those problems that you are complaining about.

Now, it’s up to you. You want to be a part of the problem, or a part of the solution?

    Potential Questions Answered

My manager does not value me. I feel unappreciated in my job despite working hard and giving my best.

Where in your life and career are you not appreciating yourself enough? When we don’t appreciate our job, our job does not appreciate us.

And do you appreciate your manager or boss enough? Do you try to understand them the way you want to be understood?

If not, then your frequency of unappreciation is being reflected back to you. Start appreciating everything about you, your life, and your job.

Try it just for 21 days and see how things change.

I am underpaid, and living paycheck to paycheck. How am I responsible for this?

How is your relationship with money? Do you doubt your financial situation? Do you fear staying underpaid even in the future? Do you think that money comes with hard work and struggle?

Or have you bought the concept of Rich V/s Poor?

If any one of the above is true, then your money mindset is responsible for this situation. You are operating on a frequency of lack, scarcity, and conflict.

Change the way you look and experience money, and you’ll be on your way.

My Employers promote the wrong people, what is it that I can do about this?

First, how are you so sure that they are the wrong people? It’s just a way to look at it that’s lowering your vibe.

Second, when we resist what’s happening, we give more power to what’s happening and it will keep coming into your experience.

If you want to fight a battle, go ahead. But “You V/s Them” is a situation of Conflict. It may quench your ego by raising a voice or even a movement, but you know what?

Your employers will keep promoting so-called ‘wrong people’ if people keep resisting it.

The best way is to accept it, and feel happy for those who are getting promoted.

And If you think that this is not a right job or right work culture for you, it’s time to move on.

Now I would love to hear from you.

  • Embracing Your Uniqueness: A Path to Personal Liberation

Embracing Your Uniqueness: A Path to Personal Liberation

In today’s fast-paced and competitive world, the pressure to conform to societal norms can leave us feeling like outsiders. Embracing our uniqueness and celebrating our own unique individuality is a powerful way to break free from the burden of comparison.

This blog post explores the importance of standing out rather than imitating others, tapping into inner wisdom, and creating value in both personal and professional spheres.

Embracing Your Uniqueness - A Path to Personal Liberation

    The Burden of Comparison:

Society’s culture of comparison can be detrimental, leading you to constantly compare yourself to others. This unhealthy pattern can hinder creativity and self-expression, preventing you from making a unique contribution to the world. Embracing our differences and recognizing the value in our own journey can lead to personal liberation.

    Embracing Uniqueness:

Rather than trying to fit into molds set by others, embracing our uniqueness empowers us to discover our true potential. We are urged to tap into our intuition and imagination, which hold the key to navigating life’s challenges. By embracing our distinct qualities and strengths, we can stand out and make a lasting impact on the world.

    Reevaluating Value Creation:

In both personal and professional life, it’s essential to prioritize value creation. Instead of solely focusing on self-promotion, the key lies in adding value to others’ lives.

By providing solutions and enriching the lives of those around us, we can naturally attract success and recognition.

    The Power of Flowing Energy:

Within each of us lies a flowing energy encompassing spirit, love, sovereignty, heart, and soul.

When we embrace this energy, we understand that true success goes beyond materialistic wealth. By unlocking our imagination, innovation, and unique qualities, we can create a lasting legacy that transcends conventional measures of achievement.

    Liberation from Within:

The path to liberation begins by appreciating every situation in life, as it opens doors to growth and expansion.

Liberating ourselves from self-imposed limitations allows us to awaken our true potential and become more in tune with our inner selves.

By asking meaningful questions and avoiding boundaries rooted in fear, we can chart our course to personal liberation.

    Final Thoughts

Embracing our uniqueness is a powerful journey towards personal liberation.

By breaking free from the burden of comparison, tapping into our inner wisdom, and prioritizing value creation, we can pave the way for a more fulfilling and impactful life.

Liberating ourselves from societal expectations allows us to unlock our inherent potential and make a positive difference in the world.

Becoming Flawsome: Finding Light in the Darkest Corners

On April 29th, I received an email from the PR team of Kristina Lakhinani – Co-Founder of Mindvalley (offering me a fabulous opportunity to read her upcoming book – “Becoming Flawsome” (which has now been recently released), and share my thoughts on my blog.

And being a huge fan and follower of Mindvalley and Vishen Lakhiani, I said ‘yes’ with a lot of excitement.

They sent me an early copy of the book, and I am one of the most fortunate people to have experienced ‘Becoming Flawsome’ before it was even officially released.

Now after I have read it, I am so proud of my decision to say ‘Yes’ to Becoming Flawsome.

Not because they are a huge brand in the Education Industry, but because what I found in its profound pages was something that I really truly needed to hear..

    Becoming Flawsome by Kristina Lakhiani

Becoming Flawsome – A few extremely important lessons to learn, and some ideas of my own that needed company.

    True happiness that comes from..

    Being us..

Doing what our natural gifts are..

Embracing our flaws and imperfections with love and pride..

In simple plain words.. being authentic!!!

Kristina goes deeper into these notions, helps us understand these foundations of a truly happy life, and asks profound questions that make us self reflect.

The funny thing is that we run every race to attain happiness, only to find later that this was just not enough. We need more.. But there’s no end to this.

If happiness is a destination unique to each person, then why are we told to follow the same exact map?

This is a deep question that Kristina asks.

If you could pause, dig deep within, and answer this question not to anybody else but to yourself, your life will elevate multiple folds and faster than you can think.

    Kristina says:

“Imagine how your life evolved if, from an early age, you were told to put more effort into areas where you did well, rather than where you struggled.”

    I can very well relate!

My true interests have always been languages, people, life, creativity, deep core connections, music, cultures, and freedom.

But all these gifts that naturally came to me were not enough to build a successful career since I was growing up until I chose my first career.

I used to flunk in Maths, could not do even simple calculations. So, I was expected to pay more attention to this scary subject in school.

It took ages and too much struggle (not to mention criticism and mockery) to finally own my real natural gifts that I am celebrating now in my life and profession.

“Find courage to take a flashlight and go into the basement of your beautiful building with a perfect facade, and shine the light into the darkest corners of the most forgotten nooks and crannies.” –  Becoming Flawsome

We are slave to a ‘Hustle Culture’

And this is the real problem.

As someone growing up in an average traditional family in India, I learnt this very early that:

    It’s all about Hard Work!

The more you hustle, the higher you’ll go.

And it took me two long decades to understand that hustle culture is a big myth spread by a bunch of privileged people who formed the secret society, who perhaps wanted to keep all the true secrets of money, happiness, and success to themselves.

So, they became the masters and we became the slaves to this Culture of Hustle

“Western society idolizes hustling. It’s a status symbol. Our faith in hard work and hustling is so profound that if we find any evidence to the contrary, if success comes easy, we become suspicious – something is just not right.”

    We’re Afraid of Rejection

In the battle of Internal v/s External, we always seem to let the External World win, because we are afraid of rejection.

Kristina is suggesting we be authentic and trust ourselves more than the outside world.

“We wear our opinions about ourselves and they shape our personality just the same way that clothes do.” – Becoming Flawsome

    Click to Tweet

I stopped myself from wearing shorts and short western dresses for too long just because I didn’t want people to judge and criticize me.

    Not anymore though, Lolz!

    And Kristina is right.

People are not actually thinking about us. And even if they are, how and why should it affect us?

I wrote my last press release in first person (which must be weird, and surprising to a lot of (PR) people) when it was picked up by 241+ media outlets worldwide.

So, yes. It’s not about people accepting us. It’s all about we accepting us.

    No one wants your perfection..

    I believe that:

Trying to be perfect is like faking yourself to be someone you are not.

    Perfectionism is just not real.

It’s okay to have flaws, and you are awesome with your flaws.

Kristina has given it a new word – Flawsome.

As the title suggests, ‘Becoming Flawsome’ is taking you through step by step to become Flawsome..

From identifying where you now are, to going through the transformation, and to finally reach your “very own” and “authentic” destination of happiness and success by your own definition.

Bold Step 1: Establish a Daunting Target

The FIRST BOLD STEP towards doubling your earnings is to establish a specific, ambitious, and scary number to achieve in the upcoming 6 months. This “daunting target” should represent the monetary sum you aspire to acquire within that timeframe. By setting a distinct goal, you create an enticing vision and a wellspring of motivation for yourself.

When determining your daunting target, take into account your current salary, prevailing market rates for your position, and the value you bring to the table. Aim high, but ensure that your goal remains within the realm of realism and achievability through concentrated effort and strategic actions.

Bold Step 2: Embrace a Mindset of Abundance

The SECOND BOLD STEP is to identify, challenge and transmute your mindset of scarcity into a mindset of abundance

99% of the time, our limiting beliefs and apprehensions regarding money hinder us from reaching our full earning potential.

Embracing a mindset of abundance necessitates a shift in perspective, wherein you genuinely believe in the plentiful opportunities for financial growth and success.

Replace thoughts of scarcity, insufficiency, and restriction with thoughts of abundance, affluence, and prosperity. Envision yourself attaining your scary number and firmly believe that you deserve substantial compensation for your skills and contributions.

Foster gratitude for your current income while maintaining a mindset of perpetual growth and expansion.

Bold Step 3: Metamorphose Your Occupation into Your Ideal Career

The THIRD BOLD STEP entails transforming your current job into your dream career, a realm where you can operate within your sphere of brilliance and find profound fulfilment.

Identify the aspects of your job that leave you disenchanted or unfulfilled, and brainstorm methods to effect change.

Consider engaging in conversations with your supervisor or manager about your career aspirations and explore opportunities for growth and advancement within your organisation.

Seek out projects and tasks that resonate with your strengths and passions, enabling you to excel and make a significant impact.

Alternatively, you may contemplate new career paths or entrepreneurial ventures that better align with your vision of an ideal career.

Remember, transforming your job is not an overnight occurrence. It demands courage, persistence, and a proactive approach to mould your career trajectory according to your goals and desires.

Bad Days at Work: Overcoming Challenges and Thriving in Your Career

    Understanding Workplace Challenges

Workplace challenges come in various forms and can significantly impact your motivation, productivity, and overall job satisfaction. Let’s delve into some of the most common obstacles professionals encounter:

    1. Unsupportive Work Environment

An unsupportive work environment can make even the simplest tasks feel overwhelming. Toxic colleagues, lack of teamwork, and a negative company culture can drain your energy and hinder your performance. It’s crucial to identify such issues early on and take appropriate steps to address them, whether through open communication, seeking guidance from mentors, or considering alternative work arrangements.

    2. Work-Life Imbalance

Maintaining a healthy work-life balance is essential for your overall well-being. Long working hours, excessive workload, and the inability to disconnect from work can lead to burnout, stress, and diminished productivity. Prioritizing self-care, setting boundaries, and seeking support from your supervisor or human resources department can help you regain control over your time and achieve a healthier balance.

    3. Lack of Career Growth Opportunities

Feeling stuck in a professional rut can be demoralizing. When you perceive limited career growth prospects, it’s easy to lose motivation and passion for your work. However, there are ways to overcome this challenge. Consider taking up new responsibilities, seeking out professional development opportunities, or discussing your aspirations with your superiors. Proactively shaping your own career path can open doors to exciting possibilities and future advancement.

    4. Dealing with Difficult Clients or Customers

Interacting with difficult clients or customers is a reality that many professionals face. Whether it’s managing unrealistic expectations, resolving complaints, or handling challenging personalities, these situations can test your patience and interpersonal skills. Developing effective communication strategies, active listening techniques, and conflict resolution skills can help you navigate these encounters with confidence and professionalism.

    5. Coping with Failure and Setbacks

Mistakes and setbacks are an inevitable part of any professional journey. How you handle them can make a significant difference in your career trajectory. Instead of dwelling on failures, embrace them as valuable learning opportunities. Analyze what went wrong, identify areas for improvement, and apply those lessons to future endeavors. Adopting a growth mindset and staying resilient will enable you to bounce back stronger and more determined.

    Strategies for Overcoming Workplace Challenges

Now that we have identified some common workplace challenges, let’s explore strategies to overcome them and thrive in your career:

    1. Cultivate a Supportive Network

Surrounding yourself with supportive individuals who understand your professional challenges can make a world of difference. Seek out mentors, join industry-related communities, or engage in networking events to connect with like-minded professionals. Building a strong support network will provide you with valuable advice, inspiration, and a sense of belonging.

    2. Continuous Learning and Skill Development

Investing in your professional growth is essential for staying relevant and adaptable in today’s ever-evolving job market. Seek out opportunities for continuous learning, whether through workshops, seminars, online courses, or industry certifications. Expanding your skillset not only enhances your value as an employee but also boosts your confidence and opens doors to new possibilities.

    3. Practice Self-Care and Work-Life Integration

Prioritize self-care by incorporating activities that rejuvenate your mind, body, and soul into your daily routine. Regular exercise, proper nutrition, and sufficient rest can significantly impact your overall well-being, enabling you to perform at your best. Additionally, aim for work-life integration, finding ways to blend work responsibilities with personal interests and obligations, fostering a healthier and more fulfilling lifestyle.

    4. Effective Time and Stress Management

Mastering time and stress management techniques is crucial for maintaining productivity and avoiding burnout. Prioritize your tasks, break them down into smaller, manageable steps, and set realistic deadlines. Utilize productivity tools and techniques to streamline your workflow and minimize distractions. Moreover, practice stress-reduction strategies such as deep breathing exercises, meditation, or engaging in hobbies that help you unwind.

    5. Embrace a Positive Mindset

A positive mindset can transform how you perceive and approach challenges. Cultivate optimism, gratitude, and resilience, even in the face of adversity. By reframing setbacks as opportunities for growth, you’ll foster a proactive and solution-oriented mindset that empowers you to overcome obstacles and reach your full potential.

Remember, every challenging day at work is an opportunity for personal and professional growth. By implementing these strategies and embracing a positive mindset, you can navigate the hurdles, rise above the competition, and create a fulfilling and successful career.

  • How I got healed in just an hour

How I got healed in just an hour

“Until I kept on chasing happiness, it seemed to be an illusion. And then, I OWNED it.”

The most beautiful thing about life is that it keeps surprising us at different occasions in a variety of ways – the only condition that applies is:

You be an open observer, and let it perform its dance.

And observing this dance is a thousand times better than watching its drama..Isn’t it?

Though my life started to change when I attended a 10 Day Vipassana Course for the first time in October 2020, soon after COVID panic settled a bit, a whole lot of drama had yet to heal.

The journey that I began with leaving my lucratively paying corporate career with an intention to follow my heart, live my IKIGAI, and serve the humanity with my natural gifts soon transformed into scaling up my online business, calculating cost per lead, working hard day and night to meet my revenue goals, and everything related to business, money and reputation.

So, what was all that doing to me?

This everyday stress of running in the rat race was killing my inner soul a little each day.

I knew intellectually that the outside success that has nothing to do with inner peace, and that comes from accomplishing things that don’t really actually matter to us, is just an illusion.. Just a trap.

And when we liberate ourselves from the external fake identities, the real effortless success starts emerging.

But somehow, I just couldn’t practice that experientially.

The story that I kept on telling to myself was that once my worldly desires will be fulfilled, I would leave everything to advance in my spiritual growth journey.

Honestly, I was not sure if that “so called success and achievement” would entice me to be a part of another bigger race or not..

Then, one day while sitting in my meditation I got this calling to visit a serene and holy place that’s known as the capital of Yoga and Meditation in India – Rishikesh.

    How I got healed

This is how I got healed in just One Hour

This place was too crowded during that time because of some religious tour going on, and I could not even find a good place to book online.

A stopping voice in my head said:

“Wait.. don’t rush through it. Let it be over”.

Before I could get convinced to cancel my solo journey, a friend who’s a spiritual teacher too, called, and said:

‘Don’t cancel or postpone. If you have decided, then buy a ticket right now, and rest will be taken care of.’

Immediately after I hung up the phone, I bought the ticket for the next day.

Spoiler Alert: We often do this – ignore the inspiration and follow the mind.

The next day, when I reached Rishikesh with just a small backpack and no laptop or gadget (When I say No Gadget, I am not including my phone :), no place to stay, and no one I actually knew in person.

But I could sense that serenity, peace, and a strange trust:

“I am in the right place at the right time”.

I lived there (yes!!! I actually lived) for 2 days spending time on the bank of holi Ganga, trying street food, chatting with strangers, witnessing Ganga Aarti, absorbing the natural beauty, and asking a lot of (spiritual) questions from the Local People.

My friend was right. The universe was taking care of everything for me.

It was too hot, and I could only find a Non AC Room in a small Guest House, but I didn’t care.Because somewhere deep inside of me, something of huge significance was happening. I can’t even name that feeling. But it was feeding my soul. Then, the day I was coming back, I decided to spend my last morning sitting by the river Ganga.

At 6 AM while gazing at the flowing water, I had this realization which changed everything for me..

I came back, and canceled subscriptions to my digital business tools. Discontinued my paid ads. Unpublished my very ambitious online course project that I had created in months.

    Why?

Because a large part of what I was doing was just a product of conformity.

That didn’t actually resonate with who I actually am – someone with multiple skills to serve humanity who loves to create deep connections with people, and nurture them unconditionally.

I was underplaying my true nature and high potential by limiting the ways I can serve people, and by making myself expensive and difficult to reach.

So, what realization did I get that morning which transformed not just my thoughts, but also my actions so profoundly.

A river just flows.. It’s only being the way it is.

People do tens of different things with this river..

Some worship it with deep beliefs..

Some take a dip into it believing that would wash their sins away..

Some wash their clothes in it..

And a few young ones play in it..

This holy river lets us do anything and everything while being itself.. Not changing its true nature.

If we are hungry, it won’t go out of the way and give us food..

It will just be what it is..

It’s nature is just to keep flowing without turning back to see what happened behind.

That one hour I spent at the bank of Ganga taught me this profound lesson so spontaneously, that we just need to be ourselves flowing in our true natural state without changing our true nature to fit ourselves into what’s trending.

I came back with a part of me healed.

I had created a few identities and was getting too attached to living those identities – a Bestselling Author, Podcast host, Coach, Daughter, Sister, Linguist, and so on..

One thing that I forgot was that I am just a LIFE ON EARTH.

And my true nature is to experience this life with all my consciousness with NO JUDGMENT.

Just being myself, I will impact people in many different ways with who I am, what I have learnt and experienced in life so far..

    And that’s enough.

I will still be continuing coaching amazing people, writing books, chatting with great guys and girls on my podcast, being with my family and close ones, playing music..

But no more attachments to these identities.

I don’t really need to try hard to do and achieve anything.

I have just got to be.. Me and just me..

And that’s pretty simple and easy, right..

    No complications..

5 Toxic habits to quit immediately for a highly Rewarding Career in 2022

    Toxic-habits

5 Toxic Habits To Quit Immediately

Toxic Habit #1: Comparing yourself to your Co-Workers

Your coworker may be great at what she does, but that doesn’t mean you have to be in close competition.  It’s about working on your own strengths and using them to do the best possible thing for your own career.

Everyone is unique and gifted. This is my favourite tagline, by the way, ha ha ha.

No one is better or worse than anyone. Isn’t it unfair to compare an orange with an apple? I didn’t say mango here… I am even a little biased!

I have my own unique journey, and you have your own. Every journey is amazing.

I have worked with thousands of people, and I’ve heard this habit from 99% of the people I have coached or trained. I mean everyone who feels stuck in their career, IS COMPARING HIMSELF TO OTHERS.

You’ll never advance in your career if you keep on comparing yourself to others.

Why? Because if you compare yourself to others, you will never be happy, and that’s what matters – happiness.

And when you are not happy, all of these comparisons will make YOU feel even worse about YOURSELF! And things like this turn into a vicious cycle, where it’s a constant fight to keep your head up.

Clearly, this affects your productivity and performance.

When you indulge in this Comparison Game, you naturally feel Jealous. And that’s a very low-frequency emotion. You may have heard me say over and over that Emotions are everything. And each habit I am talking about here causes a negative low-frequency emotion that keeps you from achieving beautiful and high-frequency stuff.

You cannot measure yourself against others, and you can’t create this huge gap between their success and yours.

Instead of wasting your time by comparing yourself to others, try to learn from those who are more successful than you in that area. Take inspiration. Because if they can do it, you can do it too.

Secrets of the 6 Figure Employee 2

Toxic Habit #2: Saying “yes” when you really mean “no”

Do you think that when you say “Yes” to every unsolicited request that’s not your job is helping your career?

    Not at all.

It’s showing you as a weak personality. And to have a strong career, you must show a strong personality.

As a leader and employer, I can tell you that people who try to please everyone around and put themselves last usually don’t make the best employees. It’s the workers who are keen on their own success that put themselves first that will be motivated to better themselves and push the business forward.

Working long hours without control, and not giving yourself enough time for family & friends is going to keep you stressed and burnt out. The last thing you need when trying to be your best for an employer is fatigue.

Your career will suffer too if you don’t learn how to push back and say “No”. When you work in high-pressure environments, saying no helps keep your head in the game.

I’ve seen managers who are so worried about making others happy that they forget their role first and foremost is to further the goals of the company.

I see employees who are so worried about saying no that they avoid any risky projects or useful strategies that would advance their career because they’d rather not upset anyone than try something new, be recognised for it, and improve.

The best way to climb the ladder at work is to distinguish yourself as someone who is valuable, not just a team player.

Being a team player means teammates can easily replace you. Being valuable makes the company come after you if you ever leave it.

Doing your best at work entails knowing what’s really important and focusing your attention there, ignoring other tasks that are merely nice-to-haves. At the same time it’s also about learning to say no when someone asks you to do something that isn’t more important than what you’re already working on.

It means saying “No” to interruptions, unimportant emails, and requests for help with projects outside of your responsibilities. Saying “no” more often has helped me prioritize and work on what matters most, and consequently, get more done than ever before.

You may be thinking that you don’t have the guts to say “No”. Well, it’s mostly about having a different strategy for those times when you’re asked to do something that isn’t as important as what you should really be doing.

Toxic Habit #3: Holding grudges against those who hurt you before

If you are seriously ambitious and want to climb the corporate ladders fast with ease, you can’t afford to hold grudges against anyone.

This is indeed very toxic, and each toxic habit is a bad and harmful influence on anyone who has it.

Holding grudges or holding on to anger and resentment towards someone will only make you lose that person’s trust and friendship. It doesn’t help in any way, shape, or form.

Letting go of this toxic habit can be hard at first especially if you’re working towards becoming a healthier individual. However, toxic habits can be changed with determination and hard work.

Psychologists say that holding grudges against people who hurt you is harming yourself more than the person you hold your grudges against.

Grudges are toxic because they make one feel anger inside which can lead to stress, depression, and worse than that…. Hostility.

There are a lot of ways to let go of grudges but practicing forgiveness is one of the best ways to be kinder towards others and yourself at the same time. Not only does it save you from the anger and stress of holding a grudge against someone, but it also helps you heal from the wounds that person caused you before.

Everyone has been hurt by someone at some point in their lives. We all have our own stories of how we got hurt, but what matters most is not to choose to be stuck on those feelings of resentment, anger, and hatred.

If you’re having a hard time letting go of your grudges to let yourself heal from the pain that person caused you, here are some things to do that can help:

Find a quiet place where you can relax and be by yourself. This is a good way for you to calm down and center yourself.

Meditate and ask yourself, “What is the reason why I’m holding on to this grudge?” and be honest with your answer.

This may take a few days or weeks of deep thinking but eventually, you’ll come up with an answer. Once you know what it is that motivates you to hold on to this hatred towards that person, then you can move on.

Let go of that grudge slowly and let yourself feel happy again even if it’s just for a short while.

You deserve to be happy too! Take small steps towards letting go of the pain other people caused you before. If you are having a hard time or find this exercise to be difficult, then it is best to seek help from a therapist or a trusted confidant.

Be kind to yourself and others, it’s never too late to let go of grudges!

Toxic Habit #4: Blaming other people for your problems

We live in a world where most of us never want to take responsibility for our actions and results.

And the corporate world is no different.

Anytime you try to hold people accountable for what they say or do, you are met with resistance.

“It’s not my job.” “But the system is broken.” “I don’t get paid enough money for this.”

Even though there are opportunities galore in business, it takes a certain level of personal responsibility and accountability to get organised, set goals, plan your work and produce results.

Even the best idea will wither on the vine if no one is accountable for growing it into something amazing.

We have taught people that they need managers to be managed.

But management comes from within, not without. If you are waiting for someone to show you the way, then you might be waiting a while.

I know this habit is pretty old, and you may have mastered it by now, but if you don’t break this habit pretty soon, it’s going to be a huge roadblock preventing you from being successful in your career.

Exhibiting personal accountability is the single biggest characteristic I look for in all my clients and businesses because it is so rare to find someone who can take true responsibility for what they say and do.

This isn’t about blame or pointing fingers. This is about not having your head stuck in the sand. Grow up!

Taking responsibility means doing something about it now, not later. Take your lumps and move on. No excuses, please.

I only work with people who take 100% responsibility for their actions and results at work.

STOP BLAMING OTHER PEOPLE & TAKE 100% RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR SUCCESS!

Toxic Habit #5: Being lazy and procrastinating on tasks

Being lazy and procrastinating on tasks you’re not interested in at your job is toxic. It’s toxic to yourself, your boss, and co-workers, and to the company you work for.

It’s toxic because it lowers productivity—which isn’t what any business or hiring manager is looking for when they’re bringing new people on board (or even promoting current employees).

Laziness and procrastination make other employees annoyed and frustrated. People who are not lazy will resent working with a co-worker who is always late, falls behind on tasks, or doesn’t complete their work at all.

Employers need to rely on their employees to be productive, and if that productivity isn’t happening, then the company can suffer as a whole.

Laziness makes people slow to respond to emails, which can have repercussions on the company’s bottom line. For example, if a client sends an email that needs an immediate response, and your lazy employee doesn’t see it because they’re buried under other work, then this delay could result in losing money for the business.

Laziness and procrastination also make a company look less professional. If you’re a freelancer or in a working position that doesn’t require an employee badge, it can reflect even worse on you when you arrive at your place of work with little to no self-control over when you get there.

The longer laziness goes untreated, the more toxic it becomes. It’s toxic to yourself because you grow more resentful of your job the longer you don’t do it—it’s toxic to others around you because they start losing their patience with your lack of self-control, and it’s toxic for business because this toxic behavior can mean losing money, clients, or even firing you.

It’s not healthy for you or your employer, and it’s toxic to the work environment, which is why the only solution is to take action and change this toxic habit before it becomes a toxic lifestyle you continue to live in.

Now, I would like to hear from you.

Can you relate with any of these? Let me know in the comments below.

Actually, I used to have all of them at a time years ago.

    Even a few more..

I am talking about them in this Episode of my Podcast.

  • 14 Signs that you have a Low Self Esteem

14 Signs that you have a Low Self Esteem

If you’re constantly being harsh on yourself, ignoring your qualities, disbelieving those who appreciate you, having people disrespect you and taking you for granted, feeling anxiety and emotional turmoil, stuck in wrong relationships with wrong people, and experiencing what you really don’t want in your life, it clearly shows that you have already developed a low self esteem.

In most simple words, self esteem is self judgment.

It means how much you value, appreciate, approve of, respect, like and love yourself.

Your self esteem is your own attitude towards yourself.

The little things you do and feel, and the choices you make speak volumes about your self esteem.

Let me confess. I have been in your shoes for too long.

When I look back, my past life scares me.

My low self esteem had almost ruined my life, and I had lost it all just in each area of my life.

Not too long ago, I was showing every single sign of low self esteem that I am sharing here with you.

And it was much more painful than I could ever express.

Before I go on to give you the most common warning signs of poor self esteem, let’s first see how your most important life areas get affected when you live with too low a self esteem.

Some Direct Effects of Low Self Esteem

    Your Health and Emotions:

You would most often experience health issues, high stress and anxiety levels, and often find yourself in emotional turmoil.

    Your Career:

You are much likely to attract and stay stuck in low paying jobs, non-appreciative bosses, colleagues, and clients.

You won’t be (enough) valued, appreciated or taken seriously, despite all the hard work and effort.

    Your Relationships:

People with low self esteem usually find themselves amidst of wrong people and abusive relationships, and remain trapped for until a lifetime.

You’re highly likely to marry or date wrong partner(s). Your spouse, family and friends will take you for a toss.

    Your Finances:

Most usually, money will be hard to catch.

And what you earn will never be enough to pay your bills, and fund the lifestyle you want to create for yourself, and those dependent on you.

    Signs of Low self esteem

Let’s now see the most common Signs of a Low Self Esteem

    1. You feel unworthy around people

Everyone around looks so much superior to you, and you feel that you don’t amount to anything. You just want to hide yourself.

    2. You get embarrassed when someone gives you a compliment

How do you feel when someone says a nice thing about you? Do you graciously accept it and feel good about it?

Or you feel embarrassed? If you do, then you’re showing a sign of low self esteem.

    3. You don’t like your reflection in the mirror

You don’t like your own reflection in the mirror, and say nasty things to yourself; e.g. “I a mess”, “I look ugly”, “I wish I was slimmer”, “I am stupid” or something similar.

For years I hated the person who stared me back in my mirror – myself. Whenever I looked into the mirror, it made me feel uncomfortable. And I used to avoid looking into it.

    4. You avoid the company of smarter people

You seek the company of those who you think are less smarter than you. And you try to uphold your importance to these people.

    5. You try to hide yourself in social settings

In the first place, you prefer to avoid a social gathering where you’re likely to see ‘smarter than you’ people.

But if you really have to, you would try to hide in a corner with a few ones you know well, or you feel superior to.

    Ideas-to-empower-yourself-during-crnona

    6. You rarely try anything you’ve not done before

Trying a new thing looks like a guaranteed failure. So, you don’t want to take a chance.

    7. You ceaselessly compare yourself with others

You put yourself in comparison with just everyone you come across.

    8. You most often buy and use cheap things

Even when you have enough money to spend on nice pricey things, you most often find yourself picking stuff with the lowest price tag.

You are convinced that you don’t deserve great and expensive stuff.

    9. You feel jealous when you hear someone praising someone else

Your hearts aches when you hear someone admiring someone else, and you feel offended. You begin thinking or talking about their faults and weaknesses.

    10. You’re too sensitive to constructive feedback

Any kind of criticism or even constructive feedback offends you. And you either behave defensive or go hide in your shell feeling worse about yourself.

Sometimes, you even cut connection with the giver.

    11. You apologise a lot

You feel apologetic about almost everything. “I am sorry” seems to be your favourite line.

I was an apology addict. I would say sorry for almost every thing. You name it.

I would make an apology for things like taking up space, expressing a different opinion,  calling someone, taking someone’s time, or even someone else bumping into me

    12. You’re a people pleaser

You try hard to please everyone just to hear a few words of praise (which you are actually not going to believe anyway).

You buy excessive gifts, and do difficult things just to feel wanted, needed, or admired.

    13. You feel indecisive, and don’t stick to your decisions

When it comes to making even small choices, your mind goes blank.

You feel indecisive about what to wear, where to eat, which movie to watch, and so forth.

    14. You put yourself last

Everyone else is more important than you, and you usually settle for what others decide or choose for you. You neglect yourself, and never feel the need to develop or nurture you physically, mentally, emotionally or spiritually.

So, are you showing any or more of these warning signs of low self esteem? What are you going to do about raising your levels of self esteem, and sense of self worth?

I would Love to have your views shared in the comments.

7 Mind Blowing Ideas to Empower Yourself (and Stay Unaffected) during Corona Times

With 334,981 established cases, 14,652 confirmed deaths in 190 countries (at the time of writing this post), global lockdowns, nearly one billion people confined to their homes, stock market crashes, World economy on the brink of recession, and all in panic, Corona Virus is scary.

    This is no secret.

    But as we all know:

“A problem is a chance for you to do your best.” – – Duke Ellington

    Motivational Quote

You have a fantastic option to look at this entire terrifying situation with a fresh pair of eyes.

In this post, I will give you 7 mind-blowing strategies to empower yourself during this difficult (and scary) corona time.

This situation is very strange and uncertain. Most of us have never experienced this lock down and home confinement. We are not used to see no-people-around streets, and dead malls. And we don’t even know yet when this all will end.

But despite all this uncertainty, worry, anxiety and panic, one thing is certain:

Everything that begins has to end.

While we all are stuck in this Corona Trap, we have two choices:

    1. Think about it, Talk about It, Dig it, and Panic relentlessly. (This will only worsen a worse situation)
    1. Use this time to empower yourself the way you have never done before, so these tough times make you tougher to not just survive, but thrive, and this corona experience becomes the most memorable life transforming experience for you.

7 Mind Blowing Ideas to Empower Yourself during Corona Times

    #1 Take No Chances

When everyone on the planet is worried about tomorrow, feeling uncertain, and facing anxiety, the good  news is that we have control over not catching infection by following the guidelines:

    1. Social Distancing, and
    2. Self Hygiene

I know it’s uncomfortable. But this is the only solution. As we know prevention is alway better than cure.

Here’s a short video we have created to help you stay safe while Corona Virus is still around. Take a Look.

    #2 Stay Distracted

Human Brain is hard wired for negativity. This is why we often choose to talk about, think about, learn more about, and spread what’s wrong instead of what’s good.

So, as long as you’re taking precautions, and following guidelines, you’re good. Don’t fear. Have faith.

Choose to think about something empowering  and meaningful over Corona Talks.

Distance yourself from negative news too.

There are pieces of good news that you can follow, and find strength to stay calm and positive.

Here’s a few of them (Link to source)

    1. More than 70% people have recovered (out of about 80,000 infected people) in China, and been discharged from hospitals.
    2. Scientists in Canada have made massive breakthroughs in an effort to develop a vaccine.
    3. Life in China is getting back to normal, opening parks and loosening travel restrictions.
    4. A Japanese flue drug has proven effective in treating the coronavirus.
    5. Communities are coming together to help their neighbours.

#3 Believe that you’ll be Safe

Belief is an invisible power emanating from the mind and the heart. –  Dr. T.P. Chia

Your beliefs and emotions are everything. When you take appropriate action and have supporting beliefs and emotions, you get miraculous results.

It’s true for every situation, no matter how adverse it is.

Because you’re taking precautions, keeping yourself safe, focusing on good news about Corona, believe that you’ll stay safe.

Out of 7.8 billion world population and 334,981 reported cases, the probability of catching infection for an average person is quite low.

    #4 Install a self-care Routine

The most effective way to keep away from all the panic that’s spreading around, is to create a self care routine, and practise it every single day.

By doing so, you will not only connect with you, and nurture yourself, but also send a positive vibration to the universe which will then reciprocate by sending good things your way.

    A few Ideas:

    1. Create a Physical Fitness Plan, and follow it routinely

    • Include 20-30 minutes of Exercise, Yoga or any Physical Activity
    • Choose to eat what nourishes your body.
    • Add more vegetables, fruits , and seeds to your diet.

    2. Meditate for at least 11 minutes ( 3 times if you can) every day

    • Sit in a quiet place. Observe your breath, or heartbeat. When you catch yourself losing your focus, bring it back, and continue. OR

    • Quiet your mind, ask a Question, and Listen to the answers.

    3. Cook a healthy meal and enjoy it.

    • Pay full attention to each bite you eat,
    • Appreciate it, and
    • Feel Grateful.

    4. If you’re a reader

    • Make a list of a  few great reads.

    • Set a goal of reading a book every week, and

    • Follow the plan.

    5. Journal

    • It helps you explore yourself, and get clarity about your life.

    • Don’t forget to write about the things that you feel great about. It can be your family, friends, gadgets, health, or anything that makes you ‘you’.

    #5 Clear the Stuck Energy

We may not know it, but nearly all of us do accumulate some bad energy in our bodies, mind and environment.

This stuck energy hampers the flow of life, and we become a misaligned mess attracting wrong things to ourselves.

When we invite a calamity (yes, we invite, and it may be COVID-19, Yellow fever, o SARS), it’s a sign that we need to re-align our energies.

A few ways to get you started:

    Declutter

Get rid of things that you haven’t used for more than 6 months, or you’re not likely to use in the future, and those that don’t resonate with you,

    Release Negative Emotions:

Let go of all negative emotions that you have gathered over time.

    Spend some time with yourself.

Go back in your childhood, and start from there.

Recall all events and memories that make you feel horrible, guilty, sad, or uncomfortable.

Don’t try to burry them within you. Don’t avoid them any more.

Think about each one of them. Then, let them go, one by one.

Recall the people who have done you harm. It’s time to forgive them. Not for them, but for you.

Write down everything that goes on in your mind on a piece of paper. And burn it, or tear it.

You’re worthy of much better emotions, than these sabotaging ones.

    Start afresh.

    #6 Give Strength to others

Do you really want to brighten your way? Then help others achieve what you want for yourself.

The best way to feel joy is to be the cause for others’ delight.

So, when you see people panic about Corona Virus Disease, educate them, inspire them, and help them be strong enough to deal with this hard time, in your best capacity, and with a pure heart.

    #7 Recreate Your Life

This is the most valuable thing that you could do during these tough times.

This pandemic has done (and still doing) a lot of damage to lives, and economies.

But, It also has given us a life changing gift:

The time and opportunity to recreate our lives the way we want.

Weren’t we rushing through life, and the universe has sent us a warming to slowdown in the face of this corona virus, so we look inward, and change what’s not working for us?

Now, you have time to invest on your well being and growth.

Why not use it to take a good stock of different life areas, and see what’s working and what’s not?

If you need to plan a promotion at work, or a job change, or setting up a few more income streams, now is the best time.

Just go ahead, and give yourself  the gift of a new life.

  • How to Start Your Day with a Bang

How to Start Your Day with a Bang

This blog post is going to help you set up the right positive tone for the day so you stay determined to take one more effective step to enjoy the life you’ve dreamed of.

Everyone has highs and lows. The best thing is that every day comes with new hopes. And the rising sun communicates this to us. Let’s listen to this call intensely and make the best of this mystical part of the day – the mornings.

Mornings are magical. They are just beautiful. Aren’t they? Did you see the sunrise in the recent times? I love sunrises. The most amazing thing is that I can see them through the window of my room almost every day and I just love that.

    Be pleasant until 10 o'clock

    how to start your day

    How to Start Your Day

So, we’re talking about building a foundation of a Super Productive Day that will ATTRACT plenty of OPPORTUNITIES and keep you on top on your life.

That starts right the moment you open your eyes still in bed.

    What do you do?

    What do you think of?

    What do expect?

    What do you wish?

Too many questions, but it’s worth taking a perspective.

Take a few moments and think about it.

    3 Ps of Empowerment

Choose your attitude and focus for the day while you still are in bed. How do you like your day to be?
    My Mantra is 3 Ps – 1) Peaceful 2) Powerful, 3) Productive

    The first thing:

Make peace with yourself and the surroundings to have a PEACEFUL day.

It simply means that you feel comfortable with yourself & then everything/everyone around.

Start with your immediate family, friends and Colleagues.

    Feel empowered.

Choose your attitude for the day to turn it POWERFUL.

Just feel that self-confidence pouring out from the depth of your being.

Imagine yourself responding strongly to the routine situations.

To have an insanely PRODUCTIVE DAY, one simple act that works best for me is writing down THREE MAJOR TASKS for the day and focus on completing those before lunch hour.

And of course, the above two states (feeling Peaceful & Powerful) lead to a phenomenally productive day.

“What can I do today to go an Extra Mile, and turn my day into a Powerful surprise?”

Ask yourself this question. Meditate on it for some time.

    And listen to the answers.

The answers will come to you. I promise. I can say that after a rich experience and practice with this technique.

Sometimes not immediately but as the day passes, your mind starts giving you awesome ideas.

Feeling Powerful and in harmony with our own selves and  everything and everyone around us, is all about building a STRONG character and FORMING SUPPORTING HABITS that make this routine not just possible but AUTOMATIC.

    Magical Morning Routine

3 Essentials to Start your Day with a Bang

    1. Be on a Physical and Mental Fitness Routine

Commit to stick to a fitness regime.

Different things work for different people. Set a routine that works best for you.

Many people like to exercise towards evening.

That’s totally fine, but make sure to stretch a little in the morning even if for a minute or two, but just do that. Stretching reduces muscle tension and makes your body relaxed and you begin feeling good.

I strongly, strongly suggest Meditating for at least a few minutes every morning. Once you get into the feel of it, you would greed for more.

First, it sets your focus right, keeps you on high vibration mode and relieves stress.

If done consistently over a period of time, you will start noticing significant positive changes in your emotions. You become more relaxed, calm and balanced even in the adverse situations.

Make a ritual of drinking a Glass of water every morning 30 minutes before Breakfast.

    What that does?

It fuels your brain, hydrates your body, elevates your metabolism and flushes out toxins.

What I love most about it is that despite its miraculous results, it costs not even a minute of your time.

I have seen people skip the first meal of the day – the breakfast.

    Quiet unhealthy. Never do that.

Choose what you would eat through the day and make it healthy.

    2. Avoid “too-much” Decision Making in the Morning

Our will power is a Limited Resource.

It’s highest in the morning and as the day goes, it gets depleted in proportion to the way it’s used.

So, save it for the better tasks.
Decide a few routine things the day before, like what would you wear, what to eat for breakfast, what to pack for lunch and so forth.

It would save you time and energy that you need most to have a super productive day.

    3. Write your Gratitude List

    Try this out.

This is the number 1 activity that I love to do throughout the day.

It keeps me in the best state of mind and invokes Law of Attraction.

When you remind yourself of the good things that make your life look and feel good, you release POWERFUL THOUGHT VIBRATIONS into the universe. And the universe gives you plenty of good things that would make your day look and feel even better.

You don’t need to write a Laundry list.

Just 2 or 3 elements are enough.

How does the presence of these in your life keep you going well?

    What difference do they make?

How would your life be like in the absence of them?

Feel good emotions, and you are good to go.

  • How to Overcome Fears and Use them for your Best Benefit

How to Overcome Fears and Use them for your Best Benefit

Success is all about continually working outside your comfort zone and taking action despite that strange uneasy feeling in the center of your belly which we call fear, but the question is “”how to overcome your fears?”

Let’s accept that we all have fears, and we have no other choice but overcome our fears if we really want to be successful in life.

“What is your Fear Fighting Strategy? Do you wish they never appear? What do you do when they still do?

Every living being on this planet is afraid of something.

Most fears are learnt in our brains.

The truth is that you cannot avoid them.

You can only master them to your best advantage.

My post today is going to show you how to overcome your fears,  and use them for your absolute benefit. So, hang on with me.

    Overcome Your Fears

How to Overcome your Fears, and Use them for your Best Benefit

Being brave does not mean living with no fears.

It means acting, moving forward, and not getting much affected in spite of them.

    We have Two Choices

    Number 1:

Living with no fears is a highly spiritual game. It demands “No Attachment” with yourself and your ego, and the external world including material, relations, and people.

When you choose to live such detached life, you will have no fear to lose anything that you want to keep.

P.S. My intention is not to train you (at least in this article) to live this supreme level of spiritual life,

    Number 2:

Let’s accept that if we want to live in the heart of this amazing world, and wish our worldly desires to be fulfilled, then this fear to lose our wealth, relationships, health, social reputation, and even life, will keep popping out of a corner of our minds, and scare us.

Let’s go ahead, and choose the second one.

Because that is the most practical choice.

Every coin has two faces. It’s the same with this dreaded emotion.

Now, let’s get further ahead, and look into the fact how fear protects us.

In some way, fear is good too. It saves us.

It keeps us from throwing ourselves into the tiger cage in a zoo.

Stops us from fighting alone with a dozen robbers, without being skilled at it!

Gets us save resources for the bad days!

Makes us behave nicely in the social settings!

Forces us to work in our jobs!

The Face and Impact of Fear is still UGLY.

Fear has to be CONTROLLED and MASTERED in order to succeed, and live peacefully, joyfully, and successfully.

Oliver Napolean Hill – an American self-help author who is best known for his Amazing book Think and Grow Rich which is among the 10 best selling self-help books of all time, talks about 6 Basic fears.

    1. Fear of poverty
    2. Fear of death
    3. Fear of ill-health
    4. Fear of loss of love of someone
    5. Fear of old age
    6. Fear of criticism.

Every person is infected by all or some of these ugly viruses. Now is the time to identify their presence in your minds and lives, so that you can overcome your fears.

So, set aside some time to spend with yourself figuring out how many of these fears are bothering you, and doing you the most damage.

Observe the patterns and list down your biggest fears

    Monitor your thinking patterns.

What you think about all day long?

What kind of fears you encounter most?

Are you putting off any action or decision? If so, what is stopping you?

After you have done this list, craft a strategy to deal with each.

    For example:

if you fear losing your spouse:

Think about all the reasons they are with you for, along with those they can leave you for.

And then commit to do something nice every day to strengthen your relationship with your spouse.

If you fear meeting and talking to new people:

Then face this fear. Network more. Make a goal of meeting at least 5 new people every week.

If you fear getting fired at work:

Make a plan to be more productive, and develop the habit of giving more than you get paid for. It would not only put in a good reputation with your bosses and customers, but will help you achieve more in life.

Your fears should not paralyze you

Fear leads to indecision, self doubt and inaction.  And all three are definitely not doing any good to you. They are just holding you back from sailing forward and succeeding.

The moment you catch any of your above listed fears holding you back, and blocking your success, do something serious about it.

When you find yourself dwelling on false-fears, stop right there and deal with it.

    What is a False Fear?

This is a fear with no feet, is the most prevalent, and the root cause of most inaction, self-doubt, and stress in this world.

It is not likely to realize and runs only in your imagination making situation worse for you. False fear would make your mind experiment with all the permutation and combinations of evil things and negative consequences, and eventually, your creative imagination shall be compromised.

Let me tell you a scary fact about False Fear

My personal experience has shown me that we often face our fears; not because we had the intuition about this, but because our subconscious mind has had processed it enough to bring us the realization of it.

One of my very close friends had 2 prominent fears.

    One:

    He would lose his job.

    Two:

    He would have a divorce.

A deeper part of his brain was constantly working on these two most fierce fears which he always was thinking in his mind, and as a consequence, he met with both.

And when we met after several years, he told me “See, didn’t I tell you this is going to happen”.

Control your fear using your Self-talk?

Any kind of fear first cooks up in our own heads before getting revealed to our surroundings.

The best way to deal with it is to counter question it during the time it’s still raw.

    Ask questions to yourself –

“Why am I thinking like this?”

“What is the probability of this to happen?”

“What is making me overanalyzing this situation?”

    The Next Action Step

Track, identify, and deal with your fears right there. Make a strategy for such patterns. Commit to changed thinking and action. And you will soon feel FEARLESS.

Now, I would love to hear from you.

What are your typical fears that are holding you back?

Gratitude Journaling: Everything you need to know

One miraculous thing that has powers to transform your life from hell to heaven is Gratitude. You may already be aware of the beauty this super powerful emotion adds to your life, but do you really know how Gratitude Journaling could further glorify your life in an unimaginable way.

If you, like millions others, have unawarely developed an attitude of dwelling on ‘what bad life is showing you’, then dude, now is the right time to fix that flaw.

You may not be even realizing how this thought pattern is eclipsing your life, and what wonders you can add by simply choosing Gratitude over Ingratitude.

In this post, I will show you why and how you can (and you must) install a habit of Gratitude Journaling.

    Gratitude Journaling

    What is Gratitude?

I am sure you already know this.

Let me still give you a reminder.

Gratitude is a feeling of appreciation, and thankfulness. It happens when we choose to focus on what’s going good in our life. It’s indeed one of the most powerful emotions you experience.

Take a minute, and close your eyes.

Start with a few deep breaths.

Now think about just ONE THING you really feel good about. It could be your family or a family member, a friend you feel really close to, a child who instantly brings smile on your face, a job that is feeding you, an accomplishment you are really proud of or just anything.

How did you feel in that moment?

That awesome feeling is what we call Gratitude.

    Gratitude Journaling-3

Why is it so difficult to stay Grateful?

We humans are hardwired to think and feel negatively.

No matter how much we do have, but we still want more.

This never ending hunger of more keeps us in a greedy mental frame where we keep focusing on what else can we chase.

As we can focus on only one thing at a time, we ignore to count joyous things by choosing to see what’s missing.

In fact, we don’t even do that deliberately. Thanks to our negative conditioning, it happens on autopilot.

So, if you want to break the pattern, you would need to consciously practice Gratitude in your everyday life situations.

Practicing Gratitude is insanely uplifting activity and can make miracles happen in your life.

    Multidimensional success

    How to Start?

    Pick a Great Journal

Your first step to start Gratitude Journaling is choosing a Journal that inspires you.

You can write digitally or even on a piece of paper if you like, however, keeping a Gratitude Journal is a fantastic idea.

You call it a Gratitude Journal, so it triggers a special feeling whenever you look at it.It’s durable, andinspires you to write in it

It may be simple or fancy – whichever suits your personality the best.

Being a minimalist, I always prefer simple things in life. You can choose whatever you like.

    Setup a Writing Time

Some people want to journal whenever they like, but creating and sticking to your journaling schedule is what I always recommend.

Because it synchronizes your mind with this activity, and done consistently, you develop an incredible habit forever.

For me, it’s before bed time, and my journal is right there on my writing table, always in sight. So, I never happen to miss it.

If you have a few minutes available during your mornings, create a morning journaling ritual.

This will help you set the right tone for the day, and open your heart to see good aspects of your life.

As a result, you’re highly likely to stay in a positive mindset during the day, and consequently be much more productive at everything that you do.

    Gratitude-Jounaling-2

    Journaling Jar

If you’re someone who appreciates fun things, this is a really interesting idea to pick up.

Here, you get yourself a beautiful jar. You may decorate it the way you like it the most.

Watch this video to do it yourself.

Or you may even choose to buy one from Amazon.

Jot down beautiful things that you are grateful for, on small slips or index cards, and drop them in your gratitude jar.

Every day as you pause to appreciate little or big things in your life, just write your gratitude thought, and slip that in to your sweet jar.

I don’t even need to mention what amount of positivity this kind of jar holds.

And you can proudly get back to it in your low moments. This Gratitude Jar Journal would always remind you how astonishing your life is, and shift your sad energy to joy energy.

    Sketchbook Journaling

If you are a creative type, and love to sketch instead of writing, this one is for you.

A sketchbook journal is a blank notebook that you can use to record lovely experiences, great memories, or anything that you appreciate and are grateful for.

You can make your own Sketchbook Journal, or you order one online.

    Be Consistent

Whatever type of Journal you choose for yourself, the key idea is to be consistent with your Gratitude Practice.

Commit to your ritual, and come back to it every single day.

What I love most about setting up a daily ritual to write in the gratitude journal is that I keep looking for the great things to record during the day.

To me, it’s like a game. I want to score high each day.

It’s so much fun. Isn’t it?

In order to keep yourself motivated, you can make use of the journaling prompts.

    Journaling Prompts

Journaling prompts are meant to get you ideas of what to write about.

You may like to write freely whatever comes to your mind as I prefer to do, but as a beginner, consider following the journal prompts at least initially.

Here are some ideas to get you started:

What makes you ‘you’? What is so special about you?Why is your family / Spouse important to you? What is a big lesson you have learned in the past that’s helping you now? When did you last visit your favourite restaurant and how did you feel? How do you feel about your morning tea/coffee?What are three good things happened this day?How comfortable do you feel when you spend time with your best friend? What are some great childhood memories that tickle you even now? What is your favourite gadget and how does it make your life amazing? What do you like most about job?Why is your spouse special for you?How did you feel when you helped someone last time?Who are the most important people around you, and why? What are some of your great accomplishments? What are three things that bring smile on your face? What inspires you the most? And it can be just anything that you can imagine.

    Find your own unique ideas

As you start answering the prompts, you will start to get more ideas about what else you can write about in your gratitude practice.

The objective is to be more appreciative about things that happen to you.

It’s just about taking notice of great things which were always there, but may be, lost in your own negative world, you never paid attention to them.

But with Gratitude Journaling, as you gain more awareness of positive situations, negative things start to disappear.

I am not saying that they would immediately stop appearing entirely, but they will be less visible to you because of your focus on great things now.

    Keep it Going

    Being thankful pays huge dividends.

You would be able to understand its astonishing benefits once you make it a daily practice.

And you will never want to leave it, I bet.

I would love to hear from you.

Do you journal?  What are your experiences with Gratitude Journaling?
